What to expect
When you show up at Cherry Glade on a Sunday morning, here's what you can likely expect to see!
Fellowship sunday + coffee hour
Every Sunday we serve hot beverages located just outside the sanctuary. Every first Sunday of the month a continental breakfast is served from 9-9:25AM.
Sunday School
Sunday School begins at 9:30AM. We have classes available for every grade, a men's and women's class, as well as three mixed classes studying either a book of the Bible or a topic.
KidStuf + firstlook
Every first and third Sunday we offer a service for children that runs the same time as our regular service. KidStuf is for children in Kindergarten through fifth grade. FirstLook is for kids ages two and up.
sunday morning service
Our service begins at 10:30AM with songs, announcements, a call to worship, and an offering. This portion of the service usually lasts about thirty minutes. Songs are usually a selection of contemporary Christian and hymns and are acoustically led. Next, a pastor gives an expository sermon, usually lasting around 30-45 minutes. The atmosphere is semi-casual. Dress varies from jeans and dressy shirts, to dresses and skirts.
